Mary T. Bartusek, age 91 of Lonsdale passed away December 25, 2023. Mary was born October 13, 1932, to Thomas and Emma Voracek.
Mary was married on Sept. 16, 1952, to Charles Bartusek in Lonsdale and raised their family near New Prague. They moved to Shieldsville and owned Charlie's Supper Club, then retired in Faribault.
She enjoyed playing cards, reading, crossword puzzles, and quilting. Mary was a member of KC Ladies Auxiliary, regent of the Daughters of Isabelle, and sang as a member of Montgomery Czech singers.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J.; parents, Thomas and Emma Voracek; brother, George Voracek; sister, Ann (Norbert) Machacek; son-in-law, Terry Haggenmiller; sister-in-law, Adel (Mel) Kubes, nephew, Kenny Kubes; and brother-in-law, Joe L. Tuma. Mary is survived by her children: Sue (Roger) Odegard, Bonnie (Al) Simon, and Charles W. (Jayne); grandchildren: Mellissa Haggenmiller, Kim (Russ) Zellmer, Allison (Adam) Helgren, Melanie (Andy) Matson, A.J. (Kelly) Simon, Nick (Dani) Simon, Ben, Samantha (Ryan) Salsman, Jillian (David) Skluzacek, and Charles J. (Maddie) Bartusek.; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Judy Voracek and Delores Tuma; also by other loving family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lonsdale, Minnesota. Visitation from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at White Funeral Home, Highway 19, Lonsdale, prior to the service at the church. Interment Faribault, Minnesota.
