The Funeral Service for Vernon John Alt, long time Elysian area resident, will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021, 10:30 AM, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Elysian, MN.
Vernon passed away at the age of 95 on December 8, 2020 in Owatonna, MN. He is survived by his daughters –Marlene Alt, Minneapolis; Leanne Alt and husband Gary Johnson, Owatonna; and Amy Alt Emm and husband Derek Emm, Cape Town, South Africa.

Wade Scott Welch, known to many as “Gilligan”, age 61 of Waseca, died on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Laurel’s Peak Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.

Our faithful servant, Rodney, was called home to the Lord on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the age of 72 at his home in Elysian.
The Celebration of Life will be Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Courtyard Marriott, 901 Raintree Road, Mankato from 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., with a prayer blessing at 12 noon (lunch provided). In lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred to donor’s choice.

Amy Joann Domonoske, age 52 of Waterville died on Friday, September 24, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

Larry G. Ahlman, age 77, of Morristown, died on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester peacefully surrounded by his family.
Larry, the son of Betty and Martin J (Cap) Ahlman was born on December 25, 1943, in Morristown. He graduated from Morristown High School in 1961 and served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Intrepid before returning home and marrying Irma Schmidtke on July 22, 1966.

David E. "Pappy" Arnold, age 71 of Waterville died on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Phyllis Mae Grubish, age 79 of Waterville, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Water’s Edge Assisted Living in Mankato.
