Three teams from the Tri-City United youth football got a special invitation from the coaches in Byron, Minnesota, just west of Rochester — an invitation to play at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Byron teams were participating in an experience from Pride Montgomery Messanger Sports Leagues (PSL). PSL is a Minnesota-based company that offers youth experiences they typically may not get. It was started by J.D. Pride, a former University of Minnesota football player from the 1970’s who was drafted for a short career by the Miami Dolphins in 1976.
When the time came to choose a team to join them in this experience, Byron coaches said that they chose Tri-City United because of their great sportsmanship. Because of this, Titan youth tackle football teams from grades 4-6 all played games on the same field the Minnesota Vikings do on Sunday, September 17.

Game wrap-ups
6th Grade The game started slow, and the Titans battled back after trailing 14-0. The team played an amazing second half and fell short by one point, losing 14-13 to Byron.
5th Grade The Titans played a great game, scoring on all but one possession and getting one turnover on defense. In the end, TCU came out on top, winning 20-0.
4th Grade TCU 4th graders split into two teams and played a doubleheader. Both games were great defensive battles. In the first game, TCU scored two touchdowns, both coming on pass plays. The final score for that one was a loss to Byron, 18-12. In the second game, TCU again scored two touchdowns, one on the ground and one in the air. The final score of the second game landed in..
