Since breaking ground for its new building on July 12, FaithPoint Lutheran Church of New Prague has seen its new church progress at a steady pace.
Rev. Dr. Steve Trewartha, senior pastor of FaithPoint, met with the building team on Friday, Oct. 30, and explained that roof work is continuing on the new church at the intersection of Redwing Avenue and 270th Street outside of New Prague. Construction crews had also begun doing siding on the approximately 13,500 square foot building. Paving of the parking lot is expected to be done the week of Monday, Nov. 9. The church grounds will have a ball field and two and-a-half acres will be seeded with prairie grass and have walking paths.
