Trojans win their own invitational

With four players in the top five, New Prague’s boys’ golf team cruised to an easy win in its own invitational tournament.
The New Prague boys’ golf team took first with a team total of 303 at the New Prague Invitational played Friday, April 25, at Creeksbend Golf Course just outside NP. Heritage Christian Academy finished four shots back, followed by Shakopee (322), Bloomington Jefferson (337), Holy Family (338), Le Sueur-Henderson and Jordan (341 each) and Burnsville (350).
New Prague’s Carter DenHartog won the tournament with a 74. Andrew King finished second overall with a 75.
Brody Hutton took fourth at 77 and Sully Mach took fifth, also at 77. NP’s Easton Bosch finished at 82 and Brecken Hanson carded an 85.
The NP boys will be at Minneapolis Golf Club Monday, May 5, 1 p.m.
