Reynold Schoenbauer, 86

Reynold Schoenbauer died November 10, 2020 at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville Ohio, his death was due to Coronary Artery Disease.

He was born May 7, 1934 to parents Joseph L. and Helen Novotny Schoenbauer in New Prague, Le Sueur County, Minnesota.

His funeral was held November 16, 2020 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Westerville, Ohio with Interment to be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery in New Prague, MN, which will include a graveside service beginning at 10 AM and a Celebration of Life to follow at the KC Hall in New Prague, MN.

Raised in New Prague, Reynold attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic Grade School, New Prague High School and one year of college at the University of Minnesota. After that and before he was drafted into the service, he traveled the Western States selling THE ASCENION, a Catholic Magazine.

Drafted in 1956, he served two years with the U.S. Army First Radiological Safety Support Unit.

Reynold began his 42 year employment with Graybar Electric in Omaha, Nebraska. During his career with Graybar, he was promoted many times, moved to five states before retiring in 1998 in Columbus, Ohio as the Branch Manager.

Reynold enjoyed his retirement, traveling, playing tennis, reading, fishing, wine making, and most of all-spending his Sundays with his family and especially with his grandchildren.

Reynold is survived by his daughters, Catherine (James) Pauly, Sandra (Todd) Cramblett, Jennifer (Evan Griggs), daughter-in-law, Nancy Schoenbauer, sister, Eileen (Richard) Schmitz, sister-in-law, Barbara (Richard) Lee and 8 grandchildren, Richard, Kenny, Kelly, Travis, Elizabeth, Kaleb, Alana, Connor and two great-grandchildren, Kristian Schoenbauer and Kingston Schoenbauer, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen, his wife Elizabeth and his son, Richard.
