Clara Julia Nohava, 94

Clara Julia Nohava, age 94, a lifelong resident of Lonsdale, MN, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2024, with family at her side. Clara was born on June 21, 1929, in Lonsdale, MN, to Emil and O'Tilla (Malecha) Vosejpka. She graduated from New Prague High School, was a member of many organizations including I.C. Church Choir for most of her life, the I.C.C.W. Rosary Society, Seasoned Choraliers, and a charter member of the Lonsdale American Legion Post 586.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 54 years, Francis; grandson, Christoper Nohava; great-grandson, Braden Flicek; siblings, Harold Vosejpka, and Irene (Norbert) Flicek. Clara is survived by her children, Stephen (Paulette) Nohava, Yvonne (Greg) Corbett, Mary (David) McFadden, Carol (Mark) Flicek, and Keith (Naomi) Nohava; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Vosejpka, also by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial, was 11 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lonsdale, a visitation was held at 9:30 am. at the White Funeral Home, Lonsdale. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Lonsdale. A lunch was served at the Immaculate Conception Civic Center after Mass.
