Titans finish Invitational with two wins

The TCU Titan Volleyball Team had a full day at the net Saturday when the team participated in the Waterville- Elysian-Morristown Volleyball Tournament in Waterville.

TCU played five teams in the Pool B. The Titans played games against Cleveland, Minnetonka, St. Clair and Grand Meadow twice.

Against Cleveland, TCU lost both sets 10-25 and 22- 25.

Against Minnetonka, TCU lost both sets 15-25 and 14- 25.

In the first game against Grand Meadow, the Titans lost the first set 20-25, won the second 31-29, and lost the third 12-15. When they faced them at the end of the meet, the Titans beat them in both sets 26-24 and 25-21.

TCU also won both sets against St. Clair 25-17 and 25-19.

The tournament came on the heels of another match-up when the Titans and Norwood Young America competed at the net on September 9. After losing the first two sets 12-25 and 11-25, the Titans...
