Those who pull, keep pulling
Kolacky Days’ 42nd Annual Truck & Tractor Pull on Sunday attracted approximately 750 people including spectators and members of the Pit Crews. According to organizer Ken Rynda, 79 entries made up the roster of competitors, some of whom have long-standing connections with the event. Several of those attending pulled to a first-place finish.
“Ivan Kohout of Jordan, who has entered every single Kolacky Days, won the 13000 Hot Farm Tractor Class with his International 1066,” Rynda stated. “His son Mitch won the 11500 Hobby Tractor Class. Dave Dolejs of Montgomery also pulled at the first annual pull and won the 4500 Hobby Stock Tractor Class on Sunday. Dave was one of the main organizers for that first event.
