Swimmers see personal bests at True Team Meet

“Every single relay had personal bests and all-around time improvements,” said TCU Swim Coach Kristen Munden about the Section 1A True Team Swimming and Diving Meet, from October 15 and 16. “This meet was a great set up to the sectional meet upcoming in November. Just around the corner!”

Divers competed Friday night in an 11-Dive event. Lily Traxler and Kalee Barrington represented TCU placing 23rd and 27th.

Highlights in the swimming races include two relay team records that were broken. In the 200 Medley Relay Ellie Sladek, Ella Schmiesing, Mallorie Plut, and Kendra Westphal placed their relay in 10th and got the team record of 2:08.65. In the 200 Free Relay, the team placed 9th and got the team record 1:53.45.
