Jerry Odine Severson, 51

Jerry Odine Severson was born February 13, 1970 to Gerald Severson and Patsy Hartje. He entered into rest on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Sanford Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones.

Jerry grew up in Grafton and worked at the Grafton Record where he met the love of his life, Nannette. They later married and built their home and family in Grafton. Over the years he worked at the State Developmental Center and Pembina Motor Coach. In 1999 they moved to Montgomery, MN, where Jerry worked for Seneca Foods in the refrigeration department and became well known for his generous and kind personality. He looked forward to his winter ice fishing trips with friends and co-workers at Seneca. In 2009 Jerry took a job at Bobcat in Gwinner ND, where he worked as a welder for 8 years. They resided in Milnor at this time and Jerry spent the remainder of his life here.

 Jerry will always be remembered for his booming voice, love of country music, willingness to have a good time, his contagious laugh, and his ability to make people laugh. He loved to call family and friends to reminisce and just check in. Jerry also loved to host BBQs and was known for making WAY to much food!! When you were in Jerry's company it was your own fault if you left hungry or thirsty!!  At Christmas and for birthdays he loved to buy extravagant gifts for his loved ones. His grandchildren were a source of pride and joy, they would always make his eyes light up with love.

Jerry is survived by his wife Nannette Severson, children Desiree Urness, Nicole (Jeremy) Fonseca, Jared (Alicia) Urness, Ryan (Erica) Severson, Russell; two brothers, Duane and Dennis Koepke; his 14 grandchildren, aunts, cousins, and all who called him a friend.
