Carl A. Villwock, 75

Carl A. Villwock, age 75 of Kilkenny, died on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at home.

Funeral services will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, Waterville on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend David C. Mumme officiating. Interment will be at Concordia Cemetery, North Morristown.

Visitation will be at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Sunday, May 16th from 4 to 7 p.m. and also at church for one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Carl Alvin, the son of Alvin and Ruth (Sorgatz) Villwock, was born November 1, 1945 in Faribault. He graduated from Waterville High School in 1963. Carl married Mary David on November 6, 1965, in Waterville. Carl was previously employed as the elevator manager in Kilkenny, was a member of Operating Engineers, Local 49. Carl was a member of the Kilkenny Fire Department for 32 years and Chief from 1988-2002; he was active in the Rice County Steam and Gas Engine Association and had a passion for John Deere tractors. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Jeff (and Lisa) of Faribault; Kristine (and Jimmie) Rech of Akeley; Jonathan (and Valerie) of Le Center; Carla (and David) Miska of Elysian; Jason (and significant other Rachel Meyer) of Kilkenny; Christina Miska (and significant other Chris Meskan) of Waterville; 21 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; Brother, Kenneth (and LuAnn) Villwock of New Prague; sister, Marilyn (and Richard) Shelton of North Mankato and uncle, Delbert Sorgatz of Waterville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughters, Emilie and Randyll Rech.
