Buccaneers fall to Gopher Conference’s top teams

The WEM baseball team is still looking for its first win this season after dropping a pair of games to the top teams in the Gopher Conference last week.

Maple River defeated the Bucs, 11-1 in five innings and Randolph downed the Bucs Friday 11-0 in five innings. Those two teams are fighting for the conference title along with defending State Champion Hayfield, who Randolph beat two weeks ago.

WEM also dropped a 12-1 five inning decision to JWP and lost 10-0 in five innings against Waseca Saturday, May 7.
