New Prague hoops team loses to Hutchinson
A huge second half comeback came up just short Friday, Feb. 7 for the New Prague basketball team.
The Trojans trailed 30-19 at halftime and fell behind by as many as 18 points before pulling to within three against Hutchinson.
The Tigers held on, defeating the Trojans, 54-50 in a Wright County East Division game.
“We dug ourselves a hole going down by as many as 18 in the second half,” Trojan head coach Dan Peterka said. “We battled back and gave ourselves a chance down the stretch, but we couldn’t get it done.”
