Milton W. Jasan, 85

Milton W. Jasan, age 85, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019 after a year-long battle with cancer.

Milton was born on June 13, 1933 in Veseli, MN to Thomas and Mary (Hrabe) Jasan. He was raised in Veseli and attended Most Holy Trinity Catholic School. He then enlisted in the US Navy where he was an ordnanceman.

He married Nathe Prezas Sanchez on November 22, 1958. They made their home in Escondido, CA. While in California he worked construction. He was also a reserve officer for the Escondido Police Dept. and a member of the motorcycle drill team. Milton returned to Minnesota in 1992 where he made his home in Heidelberg, MN.

He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Vikings, Twins and Gopher football. Milton loved taking long drives in his car and spending time with his family. Milton also served as commander of the Lonsdale American Legion.

Milton is survived by his son Shane (Shannon) Jasan and grandchildren Tyler and Tawnee of New Prague, his sister Mary (Gerald) Ademmer of Heidelberg, sister-in-law Geraldine Jasan of Northfield and step-children Albert (Kathy) Sanchez and Irene (Terry) Vaughn both of California, as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mary (Hrabe) Jasan, brother, Jerome Jasan and ex-spouse Nathe Jasan who coincidentally also passed away on March 29, 2019.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Most Holy Trinity Church in Veseli, MN. Visitation will be at 10 am followed by Mass at 11 am.
