Gerald M. “Jerry” Anderson, 59

Gerald M. “Jerry” Anderson, age 59, of New Prague, died suddenly on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Mayo Clinic Health System Hospital New Prague.  Jerry was born on March 17, 1962 in St. Peter, MN to Michael and Dorothy (David) Anderson.  He graduated from Le Center High School and Mankato State University.  Jerry married the love of his life, Lori L. Osberg on June 21, 1986 in Spirit Lake, Iowa.  Jerry was a dedicated district manager for Pizza Hut for over 30 years.  His athletic skills found him bowling in his earlier years and a valued member of Veseli baseball.  A natural and gregarious man, he made friends easily and enjoyed shaking dice and playing cards, especially at his cabin “up north”, where he could be found in his boat fishing.  Jerry was a loving father and enjoyed nothing more than time with his precious daughters.  His contagious smile made him a magnet to others and often called “Big Jer”, he was loved and will be missed by so many.

 Jerry is survived by his wife, Lori, of New Prague; daughters, Samantha Anderson of Shakopee and Amanda Anderson of Scottsdale, AZ; mother, Dorothy Anderson of Le Center; sister, Carrie (Jack) Hendrickson of Hawaii; brothers, Todd (Deedee) Anderson of Savage, Kent (Sherri) Anderson of Michigan, Chad (Tammy) Anderson of Le Center.  He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Anderson.
