Council approves liquor licenses for The Local 105
The New Prague City Council unanimously approved two liquor licenses for a new liquor establishment, The Local 105, at its Tuesday, Feb. 16, electronically held meeting. Michele Kotek, operating as DJMS Enterprises LLC, The Local 105, had applied for an on-sale intoxicating liquor license and a Sunday liquor license. Her business will be located at 105 Main St. E, plus the adjacent outdoor patio at 107 Main St. E.
The business is aiming to be open on or after Thursday, April 1, of this year. The license would begin on April 1 and expire on March 31, 2022. The license fees have been paid and the proper certificates have been presented (insurance, general liability and others), plus Police Chief Jim Gareis did a background check and was recommending approval of the application.
A public hearing was required with no comments received.
