Archers host home tourney

This past weekend the New Prague Archery Club hosted their annual home tournament with 652 archers from 34 different schools.

The High School team finished in second, falling to Mahtomedi by only eight points, with Princeton High School placing third.

The New Prague Middle School finished second behind Princeton Middle School with Jackson Middle School from Champlin Park taking third.

The Elementary team also finished second, with Milaca finishing first.

New Prague Archers placing in the top 20 for their divisions included Hunter Minor with a score of 281/300, Ryan Wetschka – 279/300, and Danny Musil – 277/300 for the high school male division. For the high school girls, freshman Cara Chadderdon took first with a score of 291/300, with teammates Kaiyah Swick – 283/300, Breanna Franek - 282/300, and Ashlee Hatlestad – 281/300 scoring well.
