Le Sueur County Board approves decrease in Justice Center subcontractor retainage
Project retainage to subscontractors on the Le Sueur County Justice Center Project has been reduced.
The Le Sueur County Board of Commissioners received a request by Adolph & Peterson Construction to reduce the retainage for 30 of the 39 subcontractors.
The reduction took the current five percent retainage held and decreased it to one percent.
Adolph & Peterson said they believe these contractors have no risk associated with the project.
The final one percent will be awarded to the subcontractors upon the final signing of the contracts.
The other nine subcontractors will come before the commissioners in the near future.
The approximately dollar amount in retainage is $235,000.
In other Le Sueur County Board business: * Liquor licenses were approved for the Little Dandy in Le Center, Caribou Gun Club in Le Sueur, and Westwood Marina Bar & Grill on Lake Washington.
* An ATV grant was received by the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Department in the amount of $11,238.
