Montgomery Area 4th of July Events

Remember to check for road closures and detours due to recent area flooding.

July 4 • Lakeville — Fireworks in King Park at 10 p.m. • Mankato — Red, Hot & Boom! at Riverfront Park with festivities start at 6 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m.

• Montgomery - Music in the Park in Memorial Park at 6 p.m. with Loose Gravel — rock, country and folk music. No fireworks.

• North Morristown — 131st Annual 4th of July Celebration with various events throughout the day from 9 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. Parade at 10 a.m., a patriotic program at 11 a.m., and fireworks at 10 p.m. • Owatonna — Fireworks at Steele County Fairgrounds at 10 p.m.

• St. Peter — 53rd Annual Old-Fashioned Fourth of July with a parade at 10 a.m., Party in the park starting at 6 p.m. and fireworks near the St. Peter High School at 10 p.m.

• Waseca — Events throughout the day for Lakefest and fireworks in Clear Lake Park at 9:50 p.m.

• West Jefferson Lake — Fireworks at dusk.

July 5

• Elysian — 4th of July Celebration with various events from Tuesday, July 2, through Sunday, July 7; Fireworks at 10 p.m. on July 5 at Lake Tustin Park
