Boys fall to Tigers and Giants

The number 58 was not good for the TCU Boys’ Basketball Team last week. The boys’ team recorded two more losses last week.

In close battles, they fell to the Medford Tigers 58-65 on January 15 and to the Le Sueur-Henderson Giants 58-69 on Thursday, Jan. 17.

Against the Tigers, the Titans entered the contest with a 1-12 record to the Tigers’ 0-10 winless season. However, after a close back-and-forth game, the Titans gave the Tigers their only win on the season so far.

The Titans entered the contest on a slow start, allowing the visitors to establish a lead in the first part of the game before they closed the gap to 23-24.

TCU vs Le Sueur-Henderson

The Titans fell to the Giants in their home conference game on Thursday, Jan. 17 with a score of 58-69.

Again, the Titans fell behind in the first half by approximately ten points and failed to establish a lead during the game.

They went into halftime trailing 26 to 36 and couldn’t get over the hump.

In the second half, the Giants, who went into the contest with a 4-11 record, maintained their lead.
